Setting off from the popular town of Hathersage, you will run along the famous edges, with sweeping views at every turn, before passing through the iconic Chatsworth Park and onto the Monsal Trail.

  • 25km Aid Stations

    • 9km: Froggatt water point

    • 14km: Event centre support point

    • 21km: Shatton Lane water point

    50km Aid Stations

    • 12km: Baslow public toilets

    • 16km: Calton Lees support point

    • 23km: Hassop Station toilets, water refill and cafe

    • 35km: Yondermann Cafe support point

    • 43km: Shatton Lane water point

    Aid Station details

    The Baslow public toilets (50km course) are located just after the A619 crossing.

    The Calton Lees (50km course) and Event Centre (25km course) support points will have:

    • Water, juice, isotonic

    • Sandwiches, traybakes and sweets (including vegan and gluten free options)

    • Female only toilets with free sanitary products

    The Froggatt water point (25km course) will have, water, juice, isotonic and female only toilets with free sanitary products.

    Hassop Station has public toilets and taps to refill water bottles. You can also buy further food and drink from the cafe if you wish.

    The Yondermann Cafe support point (50km course) will have cold drinks and snacks freely available and further food and drink available to buy from the cafe if you wish, plus female only toilets with free sanitary products.

    The Shatton Lane water point (25km and 50km courses) will have water, juice and isotonic (no toilets).

  • There will be parking available at registration, payable on arrival (£5 per vehicle, in cash) or FREE if your car is at full capacity (e.g. 4 people in a standard car) to encourage car sharing!

    There are great transport options to Hathersage Railway Station from Manchester and Birmingham.

    • The Peak District routes are on runnable, sociable trails, all accessible for runners of mixed ability. The entire route is on established paths and trails whilst following Public Rights of Way.

    • The course will be fully signed, comprehensively waymarked and marshalled.

    • The entire route is mandatory.

    • There are various road crossings throughout the route. Please take great care at these locations, following the instructions of the marshals and always remembering that you have no special right of way over road traffic!

    • Participants have no special right of way over other recreational users and are reminded to be polite and courteous at all times.

  • There are two course options:

    • The “50km” course: 48km with 1100m ascent

    • The “25km” course: 25.5km with 600m ascent

    • There will be no on-course cut offs across the entire SheRACES Trail Series.

    • Estimated course close for both distances is 10pm. We will not enforce mid-course cut offs on any of the races. So long as you are moving forward, we'll do our best to support you to reach the finish.

  • Early bird entry fees for the races:

    • 50km: £95

    • 25km: £75

  • Help SheRACES by taking on an event or challenge to raise essential funds to support their work.

    We only ask for a small administration fee to secure your spot (you do not need to pay for your race place), then ask you to raise a minimum achievable fundraising amount to support the work that SheRACES does.

    We will give all our fundraisers plenty of support, including access to a private chat group with our team and the other fundraisers, as well as other exclusive perks.
